Required items for the general classroom:
• No Backpacks! Black totes will be provided, to allow quick handling/transfer of work.
• play dough of any color
• 1 pack of Mini Crayola Twistable Crayons (10 count)
• 1 pack of Crayola crayons (16 count)
• Two (4-packs) of thin dry erase expo markers (Fine Tip-preferably black)
• Three large glue sticks
• 1 large Elmer’s Glue Bottle
• 1 Pair of small red scissors
• 1 lunchbox for snack time (please write name on outside)
• Avery Address Labels 5160 -(1 x 2 5/8 package) 30 per sheet
• 1 pair of sturdy headphones for computer use (used all year) Label please with your child’s name.NO EAR BUDS—most kids purchase the cutesy Disney/kid friendly headphone sets (Walmart/Target/Best Buy)
• Hand sanitizer to be used daily (any size)
Extra Needed & Appreciated items for the general classroom:
• Clorox Wipes
• Foam Hand Soap Pumps
• 1 box of girl/boy band-aides
• Gallon size zip locks/ Quart size zip locks
• Sandwich size zip locks
• 1 Black sheet of felt

• Lots of excitement!

8. Headphones (preferably ones that cover ears instead of earbuds)

We are making the list available to you now, so that you can take advantage of any summer sales. Often students/the class runs out of the following items mid-year and replacing them then is a lot more expensive. If you are able to double up on some of these items that would be very helpful.

2nd Grade
Here is a list of supplies needed for second grade. We are sending the list in advance so that you can take advantage of summer sales. Please send in only the items listed with your child during the first week of school. The supplies with an asterisk (*) will be kept in your child’s pencil box for personal use. All other supplies will be collected and shared with the class as needed.
2-inch three ring binder (needs to be a solid color with a clear view cover)
1 3-ring pencil pouch (for a 3 ring binder)
1 small box of Crayola Crayons (must fit in pencil pouch)
2 Expo dry erase markers
12 #2 pencils (sharpened if possible)
**Extra donations: dry erase markers, box of tissue, hand sanitizer, table wipes

3rd Grade
1. Pencils (you will need throughout the year)- Ticonderoga sharpen best (NO mechanical pencils)
2. Big eraser (i.e. pink)
3. Computer headphones
4. 1 to 1 ½ inch binder any color with clear plastic pocket on front to slip in sheet for identification
5. 2 or more wide glue sticks—one for student, one to donate to class
6. Box of crayons, no more than 24
7. Box of washable markers, no more than 12 (NO permanent)
8. White board (8.5 x 11), marker and eraser (or old, clean sock or wash cloth)
9. Single subject spiral notebook: 1 blue, 1 red, 1 green - No Multiple Subject Notebooks
10. 2 two pocket folders
11. 2 packages of wide ruled binder paper—one for child, one to donate to class

Make sure all items are clearly labeled with your child’s name using permanent marker.

• 1 Three Inch Binder - Durable, Heavy Duty. Each fifth grader will be taking this to and from school daily.
• 5 colored spiral lined notebooks – (Red, Blue, Black, Green, Yellow)
• 2 LARGE durable folders FIVE STAR brand. Big enough for our papers, fits into binder, and will last all year!
• 3 Hole Supply Pouch for binder (For completing work outside of school)
• Small Pencil box for the class desk (5x7)

The following are general supplies that will be used in all classes. Please remember to replenish these items throughout the year as needed. To be successful, AVID students must be prepared and organized.
